Using Twine
Accounts
Connect Threads and Bluesky accounts to Twine, and use an account in several projects.
An account is one Threads or Bluesky account that Twine can post to. You can connect several of each. How many depends on your plan.
Connecting Threads
Threads accounts are connected in the web app, because Threads uses a login with Meta.
- Open the Accounts page in the web app at
/app/accounts. - Choose Connect Threads.
- Log in with Meta and allow Twine to post for the account.
If you connect through your agent, it gives you a link to this page. Twine posts to the Threads account you approve, and only that one.
Connecting Bluesky
Bluesky accounts are connected with the account's handle and an app password. An app password is a separate password for one app, so you never give Twine your main password.
To make one:
- In Bluesky, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords.
- Choose Add App Password, give it a name such as Twine, and copy the password.
- Give Twine the handle (for example
acme.bsky.social) and the app password, in the web app or to your agent, which usesconnect_bluesky_account.
You can delete the app password in Bluesky at any time to cut off Twine's access.
Accounts and projects
An account can be in several projects. Your personal account can sit in the project of every product you post about. It counts once against your plan's account limit, however many projects it is in. See Projects.
Limits
Each plan allows a number of connected accounts. See Plans and billing.
